Helpful and very responsive. I wanted something custom and it was very easy to get my order placed. Thinking about these for Christmas gifts.
Handmade
At Valliswood, every wooden product you see is passed through our hands so every wooden docking station or holder has handmade quality. Throughout the whole process of making, we try to use environmentally friendly components. For finishing, we use not only lacquer but also linseed oil and beeswax. When merging pieces, we use wood glue proven by carpenters. Every piece is stacked and processed with precision. For making our docking stations and stands, we use quality hardwood species like walnut, oak, maple, ash, and cherry. For our packaging, we are guided by one principle: reduce, reuse, recycle.
Real nature always beside You
Choosing a wooden dock or holder for your device, instead of a plastic one, is eco-friendly and allows you to be a part of this sustainable process. When you see the final product, it is the end of a long process. In nature, some shapes take many years and decades to form and grow. Every piece of wood needs to dry for several years, both in nature and in our controlled conditions, before it is ready for processing.
We source our hardwoods from the sustainable woodlands surrounding Vallis Aurea in Croatia. The ancient Romans called this area Vallis Aurea, which translates from Latin to ‘Golden Valley.’ The quality of the wood from these forests is well-recognized and has been proven in many countries across Europe. All our products are handcrafted from responsibly sourced Croatian wood sourced from FSC® certified forests.
